As usual, I only add picture books if I’m reading them for the first time, and for myself/work, because otherwise I’d have to add Apple Pear Orange Bear and The Hungry Caterpillar at least a dozen times a month! In June I read all of Lang Leav’s poetry books in a day, looking for a particular quote that a friend was looking for. (I regret this decision somewhat.) I got really into the manga Everyone’s Getting Married, which ended up being a lot more feminist and interesting than what I was expecting, and I read several great new YA books – but my favourite “read” of the month is, of course, Megan Whalen Turner’s The Thief.
