I am reading again! Not as much as I would like, but at least I am reading. And what good books, too. Queens of Geek and Chaotic Good are especially good reads for me, because it had characters I love, lots of geeky references I enjoy, and I found them both very relatable in different ways. And Maurene Goo’s I Believe In A Thing Called Love was cute but not much else for me, but The Way You Make Me Feel was so much more, I kept sending screencaps to friends while reading. Kat & Meg Conquer the World is also relatable because of Kat’s anxiety, and Meg reminds me a lot of my best friend. And to top the month of with American Panda, that was a privilege, seriously, because I thought I was getting into this fluffy fun story but instead I got something funny but serious and sad and utterly relatable.
And Brazen. I need more. And I need to be immensely wealthy so that I can gift this to everyone I know.
As the month ended I was starting on Julie Murphy’s Puddin‘ (I’m liking it!) and Martha Wells’ All Systems Red (I LOVE MURDERBOT).
